Dr. Tyler Trumbo

(PT, DPT)

Dr. Tyler Trumbo was born in Harrison, Arkansas and spent his first 18 years in Arkansas growing up on his family’s cattle farm while also enjoying many of the competitive sports that were available including basketball, football and golf. As the son of a basketball coach, it’s not hard to guess which sport was his favorite, although he was the only one amongst his dad and brothers that didn’t play collegiately.

Dr. Trumbo attended College of the Ozarks in Branson, MO where he met Melissa the first week of school, his now wife of almost 12 years and mother to his 2 amazing boys Fenton (4) and Lennox (1). After graduating from College of the Ozarks, Dr. Trumbo attended Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, MO where he earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy degree in May 2011. Upon graduation he moved to Kansas City, MO where his wife Melissa was attending dental school, to begin his physical therapy career. Dr. Trumbo worked in every physical therapy setting possible in Kansas City as a contract physical therapist which provided him great insight into the multitude of patients that can benefit from physical therapy and skills necessary to help them.

After graduating dental school, Dr. Trumbo’s wife was commissioned as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy, which set the course for 5 years of adventure. During their time in the Navy, Dr. Trumbo and his wife were able to travel and experience countries like Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, South Korea, Mainland Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Australia and New Zealand. Being able to experience the unique food and culture from these places were unforgettable experiences but also brought with them a sense for longing to be back home in the United States of America. In 2018 Dr. Trumbo and his wife moved to Las Vegas so Melissa could begin her Orthodontic residency and fulfill her childhood dream of becoming an orthodontist.
