Six Unique Services–And the Ways They Can Benefit You!

Dry Needling

Dry needling uses long, thin needles to release trigger points–tight knots in your body’s connective tissue that can cause both local and referred pain.  If pain or restricted mobility is keeping you from being as active as you like, dry needling can help you find relief.

Neubie

The Neubie is another option for managing pain and dysfunction. This state-of-the-art device delivers pulsed electrical impulses to stimulate nerves and muscles, facilitating your body’s recovery process and improving muscle performance. It’s great for reducing pain but can also help you restore strength and optimize your fitness routines.

Annual Physical Performance Assessment

You already know you need to have a yearly check-up at the doctor’s office. But have you ever considered the benefits of a physical performance assessment? This in-depth evaluation of your body’s musculoskeletal and balance systems can help guide both fitness and physical therapy plans, ensuring you maintain peak physical health year-round.

Here’s what we assess during the check-up:

  • Strength
  • Balance
  • Gait (walking/running patterns)
  • Posture
  • Biomechanics

Workstation Ergonomics Assessment

Worried that your job might be contributing to your pain and discomfort? Our ergonomic assessments will review your workstation to identify potential issues. We’ll then suggest changes to your setup to prevent posture-related pain and improve comfort.

Appropriate ergonomic adjustments can reduce strain on the neck, shoulders, and back, making daily tasks more efficient and pain-free.

At iMove PT, our commitment to your well-being extends beyond treating injuries and conditions.

What To Expect During Your Appointments

Your first session at iMove PT will include an in-depth physical examination that helps our team better understand your needs. We’ll take a complete health history, discuss your symptoms, and run several simple movement screens. All of this information allows us to create a customized care plan.

At this stage, we can let you know if any of our cash-based treatments will benefit you. If they will, we can incorporate them alongside standard physical therapy treatments, such as a therapeutic exercise.

And remember that these cash-based programs offer additional benefits besides access to these unique services. You’ll receive more individualized attention from our therapists and may actually save money in the long run!

Service Spotlight: Total Joint Rehab

Are you scheduled for a total joint replacement? These major surgeries can be life-changing for people suffering from extreme joint pain. However, without comprehensive physical therapy afterward, you might not have the outcome you expect. Fortunately, the team at iMove PT is here to guide you through the rehabilitation process, from addressing pain and swelling in the early stages to functional training and return-to-activity schedules several months out.
